More socks

Hiya girls ,

Yes I think it is oficially now that i have a bad case of sockamania :-) Last night I started another pair .. this time I am knitting a 3k-1p ribpattern .... the color is really great , love it !!

Today I am gonna sort out about 10 huge boxes with yarn , ( still not unpacked from the moving..lol ) so I will be busy for a while ..

I managed to finish my socks :-) , This is the 5th pair that i made , or i can say the 2th pair in 2009 , I just love them , they are so soft and warm... Just what I need here in this cold weather !!

I think I have to start another pair :-)

Same card , other technique

Hiya all .

My muse is gone !!! I was sitting for hours and hours between my stamps and inks , but no inspiration, nothing, nada ... For that I decided to make my last card again, but in a different technique ..

This time , I used a background made with the spin & splash with Rangers Alcoholink.. It looks completely different and not bad for someome without inspiration, (I hope) :-))

Witchystamp is from Artistic Outpost , Textstamp is from Lost Coast , and the swirls... still got no idea , lol ..

I am off to my socks now , hope to finish them today !!

First card in 2009

Yeah, I know it isn't halloweentime , but i just love this stamp !! And for me it could be Halloween all year long :-)

The background I made with liquid watercolor , i used also silver .. the gorgeous lil witch stamp is from Artistic Outpost , the text is from Lost coast Designs .... and the swirls.. I have no idea ..LOL

First of all I wanna thank you all for your supportive comments and mails , it is so good to know that there are such a bunch of sweet people in blogland !!!

Last night I finished my 4th pair of socks ... or should I say my first pair in 2009 ? Yep, they are made of the same wool as the socks i made for sis .. I loved that wool so much that I wanted to make a pair for myself too :-) It was a bit boring ,but I did it !!

So, and now i can start thinking what to put next on the needles... think it's gonna be something in blue ...

Tuesdayevening about 10.15 pm , my mom died peacefully without any pain ..

Socks for sis

Hiya girls ,

The socks i was making for sis were finished , but i forgot to make a pic , so i had to wait till she send me one ... here they are . So that are not my feet but the feet from my sis :-)

I really loved knitting them and i loved the way they look, so i ran (read .. asked DB to drive me to the knittingshop) and bought some more to make a pair for myself ...

They are allready on the needles .. sorry for the blurry pic , but making pics is not one of my hobbies :-)

My parents are still in the hospital , they stopped the medication by mom , she is getting only oxygen and morphine now , so it is just a matter af time .... but she looks very peaceful now and is without any pain ..

We are still going 2 times daily to the Hospital , so no time for any crafting exept some knitting before bedtime ...
